Job Description:
ARISE Milwaukee is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to serve as the Executive Director for our 501(c)3 non-profit organization. As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our organization's operations, including strategic planning, program development, fundraising, and financial management. The Executive Director will work with the Board of Directors, part-time staff members, event coordinators, and committee leads to set the ministry vision, oversee the execution of existing programs, develop new initiatives, and create and achieve annual goals. This is a leadership role that requires a strong commitment to our Roman Catholic mission and values.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the organization's mission and goals

To coach, mentor, and lead a team of three dedicated part-time staff members, providing guidance, support, and direction

Oversee program development and participate as needed to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs and services to our community

Oversee relationship development with donors, sponsors, and community partners to secure funding and resources

Collaborate on fundraising strategies to support the organization's financial sustainability

Collaborate with the Board of Directors to provide regular reports on organizational performance

Identify and implement best practices of Catholic non-profit ministries, with a focus on promoting evangelization, relational ministry, and discipleship

Help vision for and assist with ministry programming

Generate overall awareness of Arise Milwaukee’s mission and purpose to attract and retain volunteers, donors and strategic supporters
Qualifications:

Practicing Roman Catholic with a deep understanding and commitment to Catholic teachings and values

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field

Experience in nonprofit management; including strategic planning, program development, and fundraising

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders

Knowledge of Catholic social teachings and a passion for serving the community

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and other relevant software applications
Other Requirements:
Must be able to travel locally and Southeastern Wisconsin as necessary. Meet all the requirements of Arise Milwaukee, Inc including passing a physical, criminal background check, and drug test.
