Fr. Tim Schumaker

I am honored to be the associate pastor at St. Dominic Catholic Parish and Co-Spiritual Director for Arise Milwaukee. I am the fourth of five children and grew up in Glendale until moving to Mequon in eighth grade. My family commuted to the Basilica of St. Josaphat in Milwaukee which is my home parish.

I graduated from Homestead High School in 2013 and spent freshman year of college at UW-Milwaukee before entering college seminary at Loyola University (Go Ramblers!). After graduating with a bachelor's in philosophy in 2017, I spent four years at St. Francis de Sales Seminary in Milwaukee. My teaching parish during that time was St. Charles in Hartland.

My hobbies and interests include just about any sport and outdoor activity. In the past two years, fishing (both ice and open water) has become a passion of mine. When not outside, I enjoy playing board games and reading. My favorite book/movie(s) is The Lord of the Rings. My favorite television show is Psych, although Blue Bloods is beginning to challenge that title. My favorite sports teams are the Packers, the Brewers and Bucks.

I greatly enjoy being involved in the school and life of the parish. As I begin my first few years after ordination, I know St. Dominic can help me become the priest God wants me to be.
